Developing high-performing teams that navigate uncertainty with clarity
Building Curio-City
The world is moving faster than any plan can keep up with. Gone are the days when we could rely on a solid business plan and a long-term strategy. Today, the landscape changes weekly.
Faced with constant change, our brains naturally play it safe. Staff lose their creative edge and go back to old roadmaps. They stay in their lanes, stop asking questions, and wait for instructions.
Frankly, that’s too slow. It’s time to install an internal GPS, one built on strategic curiosity, to help your team adapt, stay creative, and find their way forward in an Age of Uncertainty.
Team. Building.
Building Curio-City is a deeply interactive and experiential workshop where teams collaborate to build their dream cities.
We simulate real-world pressures, from resource crunches, system shocks, to sudden team changes and the friction of working across different teams.
It’s a safe space to reflect on how we behave under pressure as a team to discover and strengthen the adaptive and creative skill sets needed in a world of growing uncertainty.

How it works
Following a quick introduction, teams jump straight into action. Through a city-building activity, participants work through challenges that represent how teams work, think, and solve problems. It’s organic, fast-paced, and thought-provoking.
Throughout the workshop, we explore topics such as:
Navigating complexity and finding alignment across teams under pressure
Systems thinking and recognising the unintended impacts of fast-paced decisions
Improving cross-silo communications through rapid collaboration
The session will include facilitated discussions and reflections, evidence-based insights and strategies, culminating in actionable insights on how to adapt and work better together.
